Begin your day with a punch of garlic, honey & lemon combination, which will boost your immune system and help you stay healthy and alert the entire day.
Garlic, Honey and lemon are individually used as potent home remedy in many illnesses. We have mentioned about the uses of lemon and honey in our previous posts. But when lemon, honey and garlic come together they form a very powerful supplement to boost your body to fight diseases and also take care of organ systems in your body.
How to prepare this supplement ?
You can either prepare it daily before having it or a preparation enough for 5 days.
Requirements : a clove of raw garlic, ¼ th of lemon , 1 tablespoon of honey and a cup
Cut the lemon, take ¼ th slice of it and squeeze its juice into the cup.
Peel the clove of garlic and chop it into small pieces. Add them to the cup.
Add one tbsp of honey to the cup.
Mix well and eat it with a spoon, preferably chewing the garlic pieces.
Optional : If you prefer to drink, you can add warm water and drink the contents.
Preparation for a week:
Requirements: A tightly sealed jar, 6-7 cloves of garlic, 2 lemons, 6 tbsp honey
Add 6 tablespoons of honey into the jar.
Peel the garlic cloves and chop it into small pieces. Add these pieces into the jar.
Cut 1 lemon into slices and add the slices into the jar. Cut the other lemon and squeeze its juice into the container.
Mix well. Keep the jar tightly sealed in a cool, dry place.
Eat 2 tablespoons of it daily.
Have it in the morning before your breakfast.
It should be eaten for 5 days in a row, then take a break for a week(i.e 7 days) and then start again for 5 days and so on. This schedule is to prevent hypersensitivity of the stomach to garlic and lemon, as there may be acid reflux. .
I would personally prefer to eat the daily preparation as it will be fresh and also a routine will be maintained.
